Testing New LRT Route: Bandar Puteri Puchong to Sri Petaling

April 2, 2016 by Jeffery Lam

The long awaited LRT Extension Routes from Sri Petaling to Puchong is now partially started their operations.

After done with all my appointments, before heading for dinner, I decided to park my car at Bandar Puteri Puchong, and walk over to the New LRT Station (Bandar Puteri), and had a ride to Sri Petaling Station. Just want to have a feel how’s the overall ride.

I did a time check, the total travel time from Bandar Puteri to Sri Petaling took me 24 minutes.

When I posted these photos at my Jeffery Lam Facebook, my friends told me they want to try travel from KL City Centre to Puchong using LRT rather than driving, they actually get quite feddup with the usual traffic crawl especially during peak hours.

Congratulations, Puchong has just entered into a new LRT era, few more stations will be opening soon after Bandar Puteri.

2015 中国高速铁路展

China HSR Showcase 01

The Seri Kembangan elevated interchange at KM16.5 of the Maju Expressway (MEX) will be opened to the public this Sunday.

Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said the concessionaire, Maju Expressway Sdn Bhd had also agreed that toll fees would not be charged throughout the one-month trial period.

“They have not decided on the toll rate, which will only be determined after the trial period,” he told reporters after visiting the interchange project yesterday.

The cost of the RM112 million elevated interchange, which started construction on December 2, 2013, was borne fully by the concessionaire with an allocation of RM20 million from the government for land acquisition.

According to Fadillah, the interchange would reduce traffic congestion in Seri Kembangan, particularly in Taman Universiti Indah, Taman Puncak Jalil and Taman Equine – Bernama, December 9, 2015

To us (property investors) are definitely a good news, especially if you invested in that vicinity. Please refer to my earlier post – Property For Sale Rent In Equine Park, I have a condo there waiting for hand over.
