Sunway Brings Seasonal Cheer to Iskandar Community
A White Christmas experience with snow and fun-filled activities for the public
Johor Bahru, 24 December 2014 – It was a day of fun for all ages as Sunway, the Master Community Developer, celebrated the festive season with the community at Sunway Iskandar last Saturday.
The Christmas Party presented a unique White Christmas experience along with the appearance of Santa Claus as well as exciting activities, such as face painting, hand wax sculpture, live music by Santarinas and more, captivating a community of more than 500 attendees.
“It was a well-organised event that my family and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The atmosphere was great and it is was a good opportunity to relax with neighbours and new friends. This is our first time attending an event in Sunway Iskandar and we are definitely keeping an eye out for more of their community events in the future,” said Monica Oh, who resides in Johor and her husband who works in Singapore.
The Christmas celebration marked Sunway Iskandar’s second community engagement event following the successful Mid-Autumn Festival event that was held earlier this September. Committed towards developing a liveable township and growing in tandem with the community, Sunway Iskandar is looking forward to organise more events for the community next year.
“We are excited to celebrate our first ever Christmas with the many families who attended the event and we are very thankful for the warm support from the community,” said Tan Wee Bee, Executive Director for Property & Construction, Southern Region and Singapore.
He continued, “We are here for the long term and will continue to foster the local community in Sunway Iskandar. In 2015, we will be focusing our efforts to further engage and grow together with the community through more public events.”

SIS Sunway Iskandar will be the only school in Iskandar to offer the Canadian (Ontario) curriculum – one of the world’s best school system – and will also provide the International Baccalaureate (IB) education framework.

This is the very first time I came to this site and sales gallery, although have bought an office unit during July 2014 without viewing the actual site. But I knew it was a great deal by then! Haha!
